Abstract
Stamping presses provide the force to open and close dies, which shape and cut
sheet metal parts. This video explores both mechanical and hydraulic presses,
as well as gap-frame and straightside presses in a variety of sizes--from small
deck top presses to extremely large tandem line presses. This program also examines
press controls and feeding methods for sheet metal blanks and coil lines.
